Worked out quite well for me.
I needed a .wmv file transferred so I eventually came across this program. It was easy to understand and of course free. Theres not a whole lot of explination in the app store of its capabilities with specific files, but I thought I would just try it out anyway, cause I could always delete it. The give away of course is in the screen shots, you can see there is an .avi file AND a .wmv.
I transferred a .wmv file into an .mov and it was smooth a butter. The compression on the file may have still been high, so I used compressor to expand it into a Pro Res 422 file so that I could edit it in Final Cut Pro 7, which is still the best (Apple please pick FCP7 back up for support and updates! cause I want to edit 4k one day)
Anyway, it’s a great little program so far, it made my .wmv into a .mov so Im happy.
